Live a Relaxed Lifestyle
Imagine living on the beach with its relaxed lifestyle and year-round sunshine and you’ll understand why Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island is so attractive to its full-time residents.
Santa Rosa Island is a barrier island in Escambia County, Florida and has access to the mainland Pensacola and Gulf Breeze via bridges. Pensacola Beach occupies about nine miles of the Florida Gulf Coast at the western end of the Island and is one of the most picturesque and visited beaches in Florida. Located at the west end of the beach is the historic Fort Pickens, which is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore Park system.
On Pensacola Beach the entire family can spend time together enjoying a myriad of water sports-jet skiing, parasailing, surfing, swimming, charter boat fishing, sailing, motor boating, camping, diving, and hiking. At the end of day, gather on the beach blanket and watch the sun go down-a site you’ll never forget.
Condos are the cornerstone of the real estate industry here. The three best-known and favorite condos and vacation resorts are the Portofino Towers, Beach Club and Emerald Isle. The five Portofino high-rise condo towers are the tallest buildings from Alabama to Tallahassee. Prices of condos in Pensacola Beach, FL are between $200,000 to over $2,000,000 depending on size, location, and amenities.
The Beach Club Condominiums are Pensacola Beach’s newest waterfront condominiums. Oceanfront balconies provide fantastic views of the beach, and the sparkling water of the Gulf of Mexico. Amenities include an indoor and outdoor pools, fitness area, spa, salon and meeting rooms.
At Emerald Isle all units have balconies overlooking the Gulf. Balconies here are accessible from the living room and the master bedroom; the windows are floor-to-ceiling offering great water views. Amenities here include a fitness room, hot tub, two beautiful pools (one heated), sauna, gated security, and on-site management. Emerald Isle is near the core business section of the beach; just a short stroll to restaurants, bistros and specialty shops in the heart of Pensacola Beach.

Although they are the best-known Condominiums, don’t limit your search to these three especially if on-site amenities aren’t that important to you. There are many condo complexes on Pensacola Beach and most offer either a gulf or sound water view and all a quick walk to the beach.
If you are considering purchasing a vacation condo for its investment potential as well as, having a vacation home to enjoy, it’s good to know that in this area the vacation rental income is very healthy.
